These terms cover your use of wattstoamps.app. You may use the free calculator and keep, copy or share its results for lawful personal, educational or work purposes. You remain responsible for the inputs you choose and how you apply an answer.
Understand the electrical assumptions
The tool converts electrical power and current using the selected voltage, circuit type and power factor. Three-phase calculations assume a balanced load. Motor output power is not automatically the same as electrical input power, and the calculator does not account for every equipment characteristic or installation condition.
A current result is not a wire size, breaker rating, code-compliance assessment or instruction to connect equipment. Verify consequential results independently and use a qualified professional for installation decisions. The site does not provide engineering or electrical safety services.
Accuracy and availability
I aim for correct formulas and clear explanations, but errors, rounding limits and interruptions are possible. To the extent permitted by law, the site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees of uninterrupted access, suitability for a particular purpose or error-free results. Features may be corrected, changed or discontinued.
To the extent the law permits, I am not liable for losses arising from reliance on a calculation or inability to use the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or takes away mandatory consumer or other statutory rights.
Respect the service
Do not use the site unlawfully, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorized access or interfere with its operation. Ordinary use of the calculator, its exports and links is welcome. External sources are provided for context; their owners control their content and services.
Privacy and changes
The privacy policy explains optional local storage and support email. If these terms change, the updated page will show a new date and apply to use from that date forward. Changes do not retroactively remove rights you already have.
